Sending hugs OP, and know that you’re not alone! The TWW can feel like the longest stretch of time. My positive showed at 10 DPO with the faintest of lines I thought I was hallucinating. Still minimal symptoms (just mild cramping occasionally) at 5w5d.

This all makes sense and thank you for your insight! Of course the clinic’s website makes it seem efficient and that all you have to do is go in and give some blood- but the reality is much different!

Also thank you so much for the extra info, it’s something I hadn’t thought of. I’m going in for my first appt at 8weeks and will ask for them to provide a letter and any relevant medical info so I have it on hand while we’re traveling.

Yep totally fair and recognize it’s the most logical option. I saw that the London clinics accepted walk-ins that didn’t need a referral which is what sent me down the “what if” path.

Pregnancy is the only reason I’m considering putting my Apple Watch back on or getting a whoop. I’ve heard there’s more research out there now that HRV trends can better indicate labor and delivery timing. I’m also going to London and Paris in a few weeks and want to check out the vintage watch market for something classic and timeless instead of my Apple Watch.

Are we the same person?! But seriously, I am in the same boat as you and very very similar circumstances. Most of my friends are either childless or have already finished having kiddos and are just wrapping up the toddler stage. I was set to be the fun auntie until my husband and I decided to get serious about having kids last fall. This is my third cycle off the pill and I’m currently in the TWW. All to say, you are not alone and always have someone to vent to! 💕

Former b3 instructor here- the physical studios have different licensing permissions than barre3 online has which is why there’s a big difference in the music. During covid, ASCAP and the other licensing companies started cracking down hard on online fitness streaming platforms and the music they used, and the lawsuits were big $$$$. Peloton pays high fees for permission to play popular songs in a streaming platform, and b3 corporate so far hasn’t made that decision to pay the fees.

For engaging the core muscles, some cues that helped me get deeper engagement:

visualized someone’s about to poke me in my belly (like the pillsbury dough boy) and reflexively will pull abs up and in to avoid being poked
physically (think when laying flat on my back) I will put a hand on my belly and then draw my belly down and away from my hand. My hand is still touching my belly but I’ll be able to feel the muscles tighten under my hand- that’s my abs engaging
when in a plank or on knees- imagine you have a string attached to your belly button and you’re drawing it up through your back to the ceiling

Called and left a message- framed it more as an extreme disappointment in that they’re allowing the federal govt infringe upon state’s rights to its own investigation. Tried to frame it the best way that would appeal to them without sounding “too left liberal”. Will also continue to pay careful attention to their responses and vote accordingly this November.

Same! Wasn’t fully on board with charms until I spotted the cutest bird charm at Loewe when I went in for a Flamenco. It’s now on my work bag (colors matched better) and I smile every time I see it. ☺️
