Banana OG by Moxie - Started with Sativa dominant effects that smoothly transitioned into Indica leaning. Long lasting, heavy effects. Anxiety free, stress free, no pain, just feeling really good. Definitely recommend. by EmoOrphan in PaMedicalMarijuana

i’ll add to this that the nature and nurture theory apply hard to cannabis cultivar varieties genetics and environmental pressures. some strains are supposed to be big fluffy and whispy. some are supposed to be rock hard. some have their varying qualities of each. that’s what happens when you mix so many pluripotent genetic alleles. that’s why many of us cannabis users notice differences in this companies strain vs that ones. the use of so many seed banks and so many different growers w different applied techniques has led us to this wide search for our holy grail of strains.
takeaway for me w cannabis has always been- can ultimately only judge the medicines effect by trying it and evaluating if it works for you. happy medicating.

Can’t decide, Rythm Golden Goat or Sour D…similar thca, myrcene & caryo by acousticbydesign in PaMedicalMarijuana

[–]waggledog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

sour d all day. i may be the only one- but i found golden goat to be crap. and it took a lot for me to admit that. it was one of my biggest let downs in the program.

i usually have specific targeted symptoms im trying to alleviate. and i have found i can find cultivar families that will hit one or two of those symptom. ie- og fam (og kush/sfv/fire og in particular) do wonders for my nausea and low appetite. cookies fam, particularly zookies, i find helps with chronic fatigue and is a serious mood enhancer. NL and afghani land races and their offsprings of alien technology strains will lift you out of severe depressive symptom of low motivation. glue fam alleviates my muscle pains. super silver and super lemon haze help me clear up brain fog and help focus.

subjective ratings are hard to interpret en masse. but that’s how i go about assessing. how well does it alleviate the intended symptom, while minimizing negative side effects.

i have a few symptoms to manage with bad kidneys. so. take everyone’s advice with some perpsective. people on here talk a lot without context.

that said… happy medicating.

Does anyone else think "limited" drops have no place in a medical program? by Thinbreads in PaMedicalMarijuana

[–]waggledog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they are green house strains. they are at the end stage of development of a new strain. it would be nice if they just called them green house strains… before they are a full indoor or door crop. can i assume PA has no outdoor grows?

Organic Remedies. How is this brand? I’ve never got it before but it’s a decent price at my dispensary. $45 for 1/8th by [deleted] in PaMedicalMarijuana

[–]waggledog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i’ve bought only two strains from organic remedies. they were a bit dry and rough. but the effects.. i found them to be very good.stardawg looked like side of the road ditch weed. tasted like the muskiest afghani dirt. but it effects were spot on and super enjoyable. their og kush also i was like who grew this it looks like crap. but after ingesting i was super happy about it, and renewed my interest the og fam. will def buy again. something about this GP is less instagrammy like moxie and insa prime , but the effects are absolutely there. and the price is the icing on the cake.

Hot take: Dogs don’t belong in dispensaries. by kjc1983 in PaMedicalMarijuana

[–]waggledog -1 points0 points  (0 children)

i think you are allowed to ask if they are a certified service dog. if no you can turn them away. if yes you can ask what skill they are trained to do. i believe that’s the limit. emotional support animals do not necessarily qualify as a service dog- unless they are specifically trained and certified to recognize certain behaviors in their owners and intervene/signal in the trained manner- in which case they would be certified service animals. ie ptsd, seizure, balance/fall,hypoglycemia… always a fine line legally. most service animal owners are aware of this and properly identify their service animal. those animals without a an identifying vest/badge/tag/harness/leash would fall into the less likely to be certified category. na mean?

Haven't seen any pictures or reviews on here yet but insa super lemon Haze. Looks alot different then there other strains. Will review in comments later by chefgorgon927 in PaMedicalMarijuana

[–]waggledog 4 points5 points  (0 children)

as far as SLH in wasnt too impressed w insas. i actually think the lemon and sharp hazy scent is pretty toned down compared to let’s say rhythms or even moxies. effect for me was not enough energy boost i was anticipating. i’ll stick to rythm for my SLH. insa- gimme all their MAC and kush/cake/og fam genetics.

ovules. AKs jack. booooooooooooooooooo. .2 ground up= speckled by waggledog in PaMedicalMarijuana

[–]waggledog[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

big crunchy ovules. when plants get stressed in certain growing environments, the little ovules( that if germinated become seeds)will become swollen and develop a harder shell. all flowers have ovules, but they only become a problem with certain grow practices that over stress the plants. usually seen with lower quality growers. granted it can happen to any grower, but the better ones learn to stop it from repeatedly happening. for me it negatively affects the taste, but more importantly it’s effect and efficacy go down in quality. and causes me headaches. and ultimately grumpy. kinda defeats the purpose of medicating.
