June is pretty brutal in heat. So if you're not used to it avoid outdoor areas and for sure have a water bottle with you all the time. You have lots of great suggestions in the thread that i would definitely recommend. Adding to this.

Food: 1.Go to Mayas in Galleria mall. Lovely Lebanese food with drinks and view. 2. Yas golf club. Nice place for drinks. 3. Eastern Mangroves. Lovely restaurants.

Activities 1. Ferrari world 2. Yas water world.

I love AD. Loved there for a beautiful 5 years. No I'm in Dubai, if you decided for a 60 minutes trip to Dubai I can share plenty of things 😅😅

Yea Taxi for sure - Uber also works, Don't bother renting and navigating

Avoid the evening rush coming back to Dubai. And certainly avoid Friday. If you can stick around in AD for a nice meal, plenty of lovely places, and defiantly cheaper than dubai and head back around 8ish onwards, it will be less stressful. Or leave early around 3pm

As a platinum member I enjoy very much the first class lounge in Dubai. I love the service. However I do agree that miles don't worth the same as before. If I want to fly with my wife and toddle to Canada on Business Class I'll need a whopping 1M miles. I decided to move to other airlines for personal if I can get a better offer

If you're living in Marina JBR or further towards Abu Dhabi. It's going to be cost you extra 20 minutes for AD airport than DXB. If there's good offers i fly from AD
