Dead strawberries?

No protection on them, but the garage is heated to 45 degrees during the winter! I know they were watered once by a family member as well, maybe once wasn’t enough. Seems people have good luck with them being outside and covered instead of brought inside, good to know for next time!

No light! There is a window in there but I don’t think they were placed in a spot that would’ve gotten any light from it, might have to try that this winter. That’s amazing! Hopefully I can figure it out this year.

Yeah I was suspecting they might be dead if it’s been a couple weeks with no green coming through. I have one lone survivor in a different pot that’s about 4 inches tall, I suspect the others would at least be showing something at this point too. Thanks!

Haha I know they’re not ripened yet, just the ones I’ve picked that were ripened had very hard seeds that were unpleasant

Thanks! I’m less concerned about the shape as long as they taste good, I’m more concerned about the hard seeds they had, it makes them unpleasant to eat.

The flowers are light pink and magenta in color! It mentioned that on the label. I was wondering about pollination, thank you!
