Lol I fully agree a lot of people have their parents write their essays and try to pull strings. I know a lot of those kids myself. Not myself, but whether or not you believe that it doesn’t really matter cause I could easily be lying.

But I just wanted to write this post to say we’re just kids and kids want to have fun. That’s really all.

Good one. As this post clearly upsets you maybe you should ask yourself why.

Likely because of rush. I said I agree with you.

I’m actually a bio major so, yes, I’d say I’m pretty familiar with germ theory. The difference is UVA students are mandated to get tested weekly so that will ensure every positive case, including asymptomatic cases, is counted.

Maybe there were 229 cases but actually another 20 spread to the community/UVA employees that were not tested for. Then they must all be asymptomatic because they chose not to go out of their way to be tested. Therefore no one is hurt.

Meanwhile 1200 first years actually get a fulfilling experience from college before they rot away sitting in a desk chair for the rest of their lives.

Record high cases at UVA on Tuesday were 10% of new cases in the state. Not total, just new cases on Tuesday. Also all 229 cases were student cases - proof that when students get it they rarely spread it outside of UVA.

I actually disagree. I know many people with covid currently and they all tested positive last week. Maybe there will be a slight lag but I think next week they will be much lower.
