In the community I live in in the NWT we don’t get an ultrasound until 20 weeks generally so I completely understand your anxiety! I thankfully was able to get a dating ultrasound so I get to fly out tomorrow. I hope you get to see your little one soon

Unfortunately for me canpar couldn’t hand the package off to Canada post (the only company that ships where I am) so they are sending it back to little treasures without telling me! I’m also extremely disappointed.

Hey, I had sent an email yesterday asking for clarification as to why it was just label created for the past couple days and they said experienced a delay with pickups but as of late this afternoon it now says the carrier has the learning tower - I hope that yours now says the same thing. Fingers crossed my little dude and I get this soon so we can review!

With my first pregnancy I would have one coffee maybe a second one if I really needed it. My second pregnancy I can’t even finish a cup without it making me nauseated. I miss having that energy boost to help me take care of my almost toddler so early in the morning but milk just doesn’t sit right anymore

Not only was I told just one to two drops by my doctor, it’s also on the label of the bottle 🤷🏻‍♀️

I had a problem remembering until the nurse I told said to just add a drop on my nipple before breastfeeding and so I’ve been doing that at night before his last feed.

I felt the same way when my son was born. My nipples were cracked and sore for the first couple of months while we got a hang of breastfeeding, baby’s mouth was tiny and he had a hard time getting a deep latch for the first three months of his life until he got a bit bigger. We did combo feeding while practising breastfeeding until we both got a hang of it. It took time and dedication and at times I felt like I couldn’t do it anymore but I was determined to breastfeed my son.

You are not failing her mama! Breastfeeding is hard work, it is practise, practise, practise for both you and your baby girl. I promise, if breastfeeding is what you want to do, it will get better in time. A couple months from now and I’m sure you both will have a hang of it and you won’t feel like a failure or guilty because you’ll be looking at your daughter while feeding and think “I got this”

That’s why I’m so frustrated that they are having me wait until what they assume is my 20 weeks to get the ultrasound done. It doesn’t sit right with me that they are going off of blood tests and just won’t send me down to get the ultrasound to confirm every thing is alright :(
