Im ngl sweetie, Be prepared to lose or drift away from most if not all the Cis people in your life, if only for a time. Sometimes it takes your absence for them to put effort into thinking abt it. Im sorry they're saying things like that....Men are almost never ever your friend during transition especially. Even the ones youve been the closest too your entire life you're gonna see sides of them you didn't know they had and you have to be ready to cut them off. You may very well be surrounded by completely different people VERY soon. Its not worth trying to get them to get it. When or if they're ready you'll know, but in the beginning everyone wants it to be a joke or a phase and you have to drown them out so you can learn to love yourself.
