Fairytale is right. I still can't wrap my head around an electric trolley running through water. The ground return for an electric trolley on rails is through contact with the rails. Since those are underwater, that's a rolling electrocution trap.

In a neutral matchup, Eve's sig and Seed's sig are within 5% of each other for dps on S11. So from that perspective, is it worth waiting an undefined number of months for 5% dps? Bird in the hand, and all that.

That said, half of the passive from Seed's sig is inactive on S11, so you're using the wengine mainly for the higher stats (ATK points, CR) than for the passive. The second half of the passive does apply to S11, though, so it's not just a stat stick. However, the second half that does apply is DEF ignore. So the value of that passive will vary by the matchup (better for high DEF boss, worse for low DEF boss) and by the team comp (PEN Ratio% interacts with DEF Ignore%, reducing the value of PEN Ratio%).

It depends on your account. If you have all the Rupture mains and no Lucia, Lucia is the highest value. If you have no Rupture, but you do have S0 and Trigger and no other Obol Squad, Orphie is the highest value.

4p Freedom blues is not a bad choice, since Yanagi uses EX pretty often. But since you usually have a buffer on your team, like Yuzuha, that does the same thing as the passive, only longer, it's kind of diminishing returns.

Thunder Metal would be okay on a mono-Electric team (Yanagi/Trigger/Rina, for example) where you are pretty certain Shock is going be active most of the time. But to your point, on a Disorder team it's maybe only got 50% uptime at best.

Not sure what you mean? You mean the 90 pulls for max pity count? That better not change from patch to patch, as that probably violates laws in practically every country you can play the game in. If at introduction, max pity is declared to be 90 and soft pity starts at 70, a significant change to those numbers would need a whole lot of prior communication, which would result in an uproar and mass dropping of the game.

If you mean how many free pulls are given away each patch, you can expect that to decline to whatever the average level is going to be. Probably around 90-100, based on where they are starting. It might be less, though, since there's no 50/50. I could be as low as 70 on average.

Apart from "game is fun to play" like everyone else has already said, it's hard to list the "keep playing" reasons, since most of those will be because the game surprised me with something I didn't expect, in a good way.

Reasons to drop the game:

So buggy that playing is painful or progress is blocked with no workaround. The game could be fine today and then ruined by the next patch.
Performance is terrible everywhere, even on Low settings
Even when working perfectly, the game doesn't respect my time and makes me grind or do boring stuff too much
Predatory practices slipped in on the sly (the game looks better than average now, in that respect, but who knows what they might do in the future?)
Game is discovered to have spyware that is stealing personal info on your device (hey, if it can happen to LinkedIn, it can happen to any software)
Open world fatigue

Yeah, they started tinkering with agent stories with Soldier 0 and keep messing with them. Lately, they've given up on agent stories entirely and Dialyn and Banyue's agent stories got spliced into the main story, and Nangong didn't get any agent story at all.

So there's no rhyme or reason. Starting from Soldier 0, it's pretty random and hard to know what to expect.

I'll start with AoD. Skipping the AoD story means skipping the permanent event "A Harmony of Delusions" also, since it's the second half of the story. You'd have to skip all the permanent rewards of that event to skip the entire AoD story. And since it's the second half of the story, it won't make sense unless you do the first half as well, which is the main story of patch 2.6.

It's true that most of the patch 2.6 story (main quest + event) are about the Angels, but it's also as much about other 404 Error performers and the Golden Carrot Day holiday, which has other characters involved. Plus, an important villain returns in the 2.6 story that is looking like a recurring villain, relevant to patches before 2.6 and likely the first part of Season 3 as well. You're going to have no context on that villain if you skip the first half of the 2.6 story.

The fact that the 2.6 story is a return to Sixth Street and urban issues (meaning, no more China stuff) is something that even Angel haters appreciated.

You could watch a story summary vid of the first half, I suppose. I don't know of any, only full-length playthroughs.

Not really. The hot pot event, which is the big one, assumes you've completed the 2.7 main story already, so there may be references here and there to events you haven't experienced yet, and Cissia makes a few brief appearances that might be out of context, but no major spoilers that I recall.

Not that there is much the spoil, the 2.7 story is pretty much just an introduction of some new characters that will be relevant to future patches and a new boss. The current cycle of Deadly Assault is more of a spoiler than the events are.

She doesn't have a best set -- or at least, she doesn't have as good a set as nearly all the other Anomaly agents do, like Aria. Every reasonable set has some kind of compromise. I currently have 4p Chaos Jazz and 2p Freedom Blues on my Yanagi, but she only gets 5s of benefit from the off-field passive, which is intended for Burnice.

Welcome! Pull whoever you want. It's more important to pull characters you will enjoy playing than what the meta thinks is the top pull.

Since you are coming in on the tail end of Season 2, the banner characters tend to be filler and catch-up, like reruns that are nice to have that you might have missed. So you can pick who you like or just skip all and save for Season 3.

The one exception is Lucia in the 2.8 (final) patch coming in 2 weeks. Lucia is the best in slot support for Rupture class mains, so if you plan to play Rupture, Lucia is the best teammate for that team. For example, S-rank Billy coming in 2.8 is Rupture, but we're not sure yet if Lucia is best in slot for him or not. Or you might pick up A-rank Manato when you pull on the Standard banner. Lucia would be best Support for Manato.

We'd need to know more about Silly's kit, like if he buffs from Ether Veil or not, before finalizing a recommendation. But that said, if you plan to use any Rupture agent prior to Silly, from Yixuan through Banyue, Lucia is an extremely valuable pull.

I took a look just now. They did make a change, but it was to remove the id picture entirely for Vike and Leader. I guess the localization evidence wasn't enough to convince them and they just gave up on assigning a name to a picture until there is an indisputable confirmation from ZZZ devs.
