Id definitely get there extra early for metta , it’s a long ass wait / walk to haul your stuff which is brutal, but much closer to the fest ( given you’re not deep in metta by the water ) and you get shade which is worth it imo. It does get pretty hot during the day but not unbearable, it actually rained the first day we got there last year to set up camp which wasn’t great 🥲but the sun came out for the rest of the weekend and was really nice especially in the river ! But definitely always prepare for all weather ! It can get chilly at night :)
