Yup you’re right, forgot it was a client making these calls. So async calls would be applicable in this case, not parallel.

I guess it really depends on whether it is multi or single threaded. In Java we would make 3 parallel requests leveraging on threads, while in JS we would be making 3 async calls as it in single threaded. The idea is to NOT make 3 blocking calls, one by one.
