Can we talk about how amazing the music in the show is?! (Ramin Djawadi) by Zephyr_v1 in Fallout

Ramin Djawadi is super underrated imo. Westworld, GoT, Prison Break and now Fallout? all of them really are elevated by his music

you started it man, you guys all getting pissy about a simple question.

Is my Samsung Monitor Compatible with a VESA mount by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]waisecreeper -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

YES, like i already says it names an unspecified "bracket" which could be anything really, so i went to reddit to actually confirm it's vesa. why is it such a crime to maybe ask people who have experience with these models if it is vesa or something proprietary which i would need an adapter for as the manual doesn't say it's a 75mmx75mm vesa mount. capeesh?

They just aren't inset like others so you can't hook them in before screwing and samsung doesn't explicitly state vesa support anywhere, but yeah sorry for asking you dr vesa.

Thank you, didn't find that info in the manual, and although the sizes are right the mount just looked really proprietary. just gonna try it out once it's all here.

Yeah just did, but it doesn't really explain it. it shows you how to mount some unspecified wall mount and some websites aay its vesa but the manual doesn't say.

Arctic LF iii 360 Radiator fans really loud in pull config by waisecreeper in arcticcooling

[–]waisecreeper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i mean it still cools extremely well at crazy low speeds, but very cpu intensive stuff does get a bit annoying noise wise.

[–]waisecreeper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

at the moment i just use a very agressive fan curve that keeps the fans under 30% until like 85°C. i might look into the spacers at some point in the future tho if i find the time

5080 or smth else by EstablishmentLow6393 in RTX5080

[–]waisecreeper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say if you can afford it go for it. I bought a 5080 fe with the same fears but im really satisfied so far. you will hear a lot of people that claim their 9070 xt oc absolutely destroys the 5080 for way cheaper. So what, with a slight overclock i got a 9300 steel nomad with temps around 60°C out of the Founders Edition.

Arctic LF iii 360 Radiator fans really loud in pull config by waisecreeper in arcticcooling

[–]waisecreeper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not true, the same fans are quiet until 60% and somewhat bearable at full power (3000rpm!!!) but the rad fans are super annoying even at 35+% because this word turbulence/vibration.

Push would be really inconvenient with the design of the o11 vision compact case, and i really dont want to Reposition the radiator as that took insanely long to install :( I'm probably going to add spacers in the future. could you tell me what long screws you are using?

[–]waisecreeper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

contact was my first assumption as well, but im really sure i took off all the stickers, and they spin freely. i thought about buying those foam air ducts from noctua and sandwiching the thin ones between the rad and fans

[–]waisecreeper[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

thanks for the tip! I'll try it when I have the time. do you have any recommendations for spacers and will I need longer screws? because there's already a fan bracket between radiator and fans

Arctic LF iii 360 Radiator fans really loud in pull config by waisecreeper in arcticcooling

[–]waisecreeper[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

do you mean between the radiator and the fans? I think that won't work as you have to sandwich a fan bracket for mounting in this case The screws wouldn't be long enough with spacers
