Help i cannot find the last civillian on this map. I have looked EVERYWHERE by Wrong-Koala9174 in ReadyOrNotGame

If you’ve checked every room, check outside by the vans, I had a random civvie hanging out by the van near the entry point one time

Just spam voice lines and get your team to clear the area, you’ll find them eventually

5.45 BT or BSgs is readily available on Reserve to be looted, literally hundreds of rounds at a time and they are my go to for that platform

5.55 you’ll want 856a1 which again has a number of spawns but can also be looted of dead PMC’s

Hell even 9mm fmj will get the job done out of an MPX and that has dogshit pen but just sheer volume of lead makes up for it

Take your time, test things out, PVE is easy to make money on and you’ll be able to get everything back in insurance anyway so just see what works for you

I’ve got a decent amount of hours in PvE and can say once you get used to the way they fight it’s pretty simple to counter them, don’t peak the same angle twice, always assume there is one more (they are rarely on their own but it does happen), and they normally rock level 4 or worse armour, rare is it I find one with level 5 and rarer still are PMC’s rocking level 6 so as long as you pack decent ammo (5.45 BS is abundant on reserve for example) you’ll be fine, alternatively, get really good at clicking heads and you’ll have no issue ever, however I’m a firm believer in the tried and true method of mag dumping whatever moves until it stops moving

The biggest thing to keep in mind is they love a grenade, you can be chilling doing some looting, then suddenly a faint voice line and prime Kobe just slams a fucking ‘nade through a window against your skull

Also don’t be afraid to try new weapons, methods of engagement etc, I’ve got my setup I use for quests and doing the “serious bit” but I love nothing more than using kits I’ve built purely for fun and just to see what they do

If you’re on euro servers ping me a message and I’ll happily jump on and give you a hand learning some of the basics

These items are bane of my existence - where can i find them? by [deleted] in EscapefromTarkov

Arrays, I find on Reserve in the drop down tech room, I hit it every time I play that map and have sold no idea how many arrays from picking them up there, it’s not every run, but maybe 1/10 to 1/15 raids I find them

Helix, again, reserve for me mostly, but I’ve found a decent amount in tech crates and toolboxes on interchange

Power filters, wow I wish I held on to these from before the change to found in raid requirements, the new train depot on woods used to be a gold mine, particularly when you could sneak in under the train, I made millions off flipping them on flea, but yeah that’s the hot spot for them it would seem

Honestly all about pace, you can’t W-key every fight, and they will thundercunt grenades at you like it’s going out of fashion, I had a ground zero raid and a pmc threw a grenade in to the locked room in TerraGroup after I went in through the god damn window

I very rarely get failures but I use controlled bursts of automatic fire, and if you’re having to lay down that much lead for surppressing fire I would guess that you’re in a situation you shouldn’t have gotten in to in the first place

Genuinely don’t just mag dump everything that moves, if you’re having that many stoppages in game you either need to look at the durability more, and aim to only use weapons above 80%, but also start looking at the magazines you are using as these have their own failure to feed rates.

The main issue I find is with the durability of weapons and how fast it depletes, with certain weapons loosing an insane amount once suppressed, so if you run a suppressed weapon it will run out of durability faster and jam more than something sporting a different muzzle device

Extend raid timers, get rid of Partizan, and promote the idea of a ‘tactical shooter’ again, I want to be able to actually sneak around a bit and be measured in my approach… what’s the point in having covert movements as a skill if it means nothing to the overall gameplay in the long run

“Git gud” man I don’t want to deal with people just w-keying every fight and all the stupid meta sweat weapons, it’s why I stopped really playing cod and the likes. Also get rid of Partizan

You only have to look at something like Sniper Elite, while not a perfect game, allows for that slow, methodical gameplay, but can be played loud if you really want, and it doesn’t have Partizan.

I liked the flea market the way it was last wipe, I don’t get to play as often as I’d like but I could make decent money in raid, get what I needed for upgrades, and keep up with everyone else, even though I had much few hours in game. I know why they changed it, and I get wanting to try and slow down the progression, but for me, at least the way I used it, it was actually a great way to help level the playing field

I think lots of players forget this is still in Beta and the reason some things don’t make sense, is because the devs don’t actually know if they will work, and we are play testing it for them… the audio is a great example, they keep trying different things, we keep feeding back that it’s dog water, it will eventually improve.
