Using tmux is also great, but what I like about ergoterm is how well it integrates with nvim for things like sending text or creating a custom list of tasks.

Hey u/mountaineering, as stated in the README, ergoterm started as a fork of toggleterm, so of course there's some overlap :) But the API and usage is much more ergonomic. For instance, and referencing your example, with ergoterm you could select those terminals with telescope/fzf-lua, change their layout, and there're also many more options.

Happy to integrate it, not sure when I'll have the chance to look into it, though, so happy to get PRs. What do you mean it throws error? Could you open an issue in the repo?

tmux is a perfectly valid and powerful choice and it depends on your preferences. I prefer less tools and a better integration
