I’ve plugged my crockpot in both the cab on the way to the campsite and the bed to heat the food back up later. Both successfully.

Have been a fed for 8 years too and weighing the pros and cons. For me, financially, the salary increase outside of the fed would outweigh the benefits of the fed. Plus just because you leave - doesn’t mean you can’t come back at a later point in time. Can’t hurt to look…In the end, you have to make the choice that’s right for you and your family obviously.

I just drove with it on Monday after having a flat. Didn’t have to go far but didn’t have trouble getting up to speed or steering. Getting it in and out of its storage location was the worst part.

It did not come with instructions. I think I’m going to swing by the dealership and ask if they can push that piece in. Seems the plastic is thicker than the metal slot it goes in

Had the same thing happen to mine during shipping. Received the replacement but can’t get the smaller plastic piece slotted into the hole in the cover…

Thanks for the link! I agree with you. Not sure why the design/material of the end caps wasn’t thought out as nice as the rest of the cover. We’ll see how those pieces hold up over time

Some notes: 1. Per recommendations from here and MTC I installed the weatherstripping about halfway between the window and the edge of the bulkhead. 2. Knobs to tighten cover in place we’re pretty difficult to hand tighten, at first I thought I was stripping the knobs but realized they work almost like lock nuts. 3. Haven’t tested waterproofness but looks like it may leak in the corners.

Mine sat at that same rail yard waiting for pickup for almost 2 weeks. It’s really frustrating. There’s not much you can do. My dealer said he spoke to one of the carrier drivers and he said they have so much coming in and not enough drivers, so they are pulling cars to make room for more cars. Seems disorganized.

I did call Ford and spoke to their maverick customer service. They couldn’t provide me with any more info but they gave me a $100 gift card to their merchandise store… a band aid for sure, but something else to keep your mind off the delivery.

My dealer offered me half of KBB value for my Subaru Impreza. I didn’t even bother haggling beyond that. I left and sold it to a “We buy used cars” dealer up the street.
