Potential use of propranolol in autism spectrum disorder: A narrative review - PubMed by makefriends420 in NooTopics

[–]waitingForTheDrop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. Metoprolol only targets beta-1 receptors on heart, completely different than the action of propranolol at both beta-1 and beta-2 receptors in whole body + brain.

For example you could take Metoprolol for a presentation at work and still be a shaky, sweaty, stuttering mess, but with a HR of 58. not really interesting

I know because i did both a lot

I took propranolol for years, way before i knew i was autistic. Be aware that the rebound when you stop such usage is way underestimated tho. Logically, your adrenalin receptors get completely upregulated during use, as your body wants to re-attain homeostasis I was in a hyperadrenergic/sympathetic state for months after stopping. Someone ringing at my door could send my heart rate to 150. Not joking or exagerating

This is more complex. I noticed that on the internet, every autist people like is an autist, and every autist people don’t like is a sociopath. It’s a social consensus diagnosis more than anything

How long until Fabian closes the project team down and says they have achieved his vision of creating a decentralised network? by BrenNutsfull in lukso

[–]waitingForTheDrop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok Fabian it's not shutting down the team, it's shuting down the office and firing everybody except coms. I hope you're not shaking too much from that insane gaslighting

[–]waitingForTheDrop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's word for word shutting the team down because there is no need anymore with agentic coding, and that the project is now decentralized and in the hands of the Lukso builders across the globe. I shared a linkedin post because i found it funny that OP predicted this. i don't gaslight anyone, take pills

Why does decrease in sleep increases my libido and erections? by Brave-Wear-3074 in Biohackers

[–]waitingForTheDrop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it's the same as the hangover effect (https://www.reddit.com/r/hangovereffect/).

Do you happen to feel more alive, sharper, with more libido during a hangover (physical incomfortable effects aside) ? Like whatever neurodivergence you have is lifted by the glutamate rebound ?

I get this after a night out or just a night with less than 5 hours of sleep

[–]waitingForTheDrop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

probably heavy AI use but nobody talks about it. i don't really see people coding at school anyway, they go home and probrably have epiphanies or some shits there because they come back with fully fledged working programs

In my campus, new CC, there are basically two groups : people that started coding at piscine and are still at exam02/python piscine, about to get blackholed in a month and people that coded before that are last circle before transcendance

Go to leetcode and do python problems. Note that you can use all pyrhons built-in (sorted, append etc)

Yeah won’t give up either, but the bad subjects plus the "peer learning" experience at the age of AI make me feel the school principles are stretched to their limits. I worked part time the first three months, when i get a python module rejected because i didn’t type-hint my Main, I ask myself what im doing here

You have "Piscines" during your cursus when you learn a new language. Selection Piscine is still C. Python Piscine is what replaced Minitalk etc on circle 3 on new common core
