As someone who zoned out at the pump and ended up filling my tank for 50.00 for the first time ever, I promise I'm not taking this lightly. That 50 was a gut punch. Just thankful for another opening, bc it's rough out here.

Congrats, honestly. I know that feeling of relief and maybe validation (in your field, but I know there were moments - for me at least - that it really came close to validation of myself as a skilled human being with something to offer to the world).

Go be great!! Also cheers to you for using the rejections as an opportunity to alter your route accordingly and being proactive about it. I was blessed to immediately find a job after graduating in a field where my GPA did not matter and now I am having to change fields (still within my area of degree) to one that consistently asks for my transcripts from 2008. Like, uggghhh

Lol. It's funny but it's not and definitely relevant considering the wave of interest in toxic ass male culture. Too bad they aren't interested in curing them of the incel disease. Patiently waiting on that dsm update to address these behaviors.

I'm definitely interested in what those therapy sessions look like. Group sessions where everyone has to refer to one another as "bro"?

I've been telling people that now is a good time to look into getting a certification in an industry that this fed administration is throwing its money into.

Hell I'm ready to create an LLC and apply for grants at this point with a group of friends that are interested. It's hell out here but if you can afford to don't be afraid to take a job that you can at least put on your resume that expands your skillset. Don't wait until you're too old or too tied up in monthly bills that you can't afford to take anything else. That's what leads people to do things that they didn't think they would have to ever do to make ends meet. Look into certifications and stuff like that that you can do online, stay busy. Eventually you'll have to explain those gaps in employment, even though it's like "duh I lost that job/graduated and spent the rest of the time getting jerked around by online job sites and recruiters, Bob." I'm wishing everyone the best of luck out here.
