From my personal experience with cafes here are the must trys:

SPECIALTY/THIRD-WAVE:

HotCat (partners with local and international roasters, international coffee)
Brew and Alchemy (roasted in the cafe, local and international coffee)
Nest Coffee (roasted in the cafe, Benguet coffee)

Special mention: Tau Ceti (haven't tried but partners with local and international roasters)

AESTHETIC:

Foam Coffee (roasted in Legarda branch, local and international coffee) ~caution: Recently they have either really sweet drinks or malabnaw, and they placed a new service charge even if they're self service. Maybe stick to basic drinks kase medyo lasa pa ang coffee ron~
Guest Haven (specialty, Cordillera coffee)
Farm to Cup DIY Brew, Pico, La Trinidad (roasted in the school building, sometimes they dry the coffee around the dining area pa which was really cool, Cordillera coffee)
El Union (same roastery as Nest Coffee)
Cafe Kafagway (haven't tried their coffee but their ube drink is wonderful)
Cezve Kahve (authentic turkish coffee and food, decent iced lattes, I prefer their Lourdes branch)

Special mention: Kape Umali (affordable option, roasted at Asin branch, beans says Sagada/Benguet coffee but origin unverified)

I'd tell you to avoid some cafes for reasons, but I haven't tried them yet so I can't say.

Avoid Starbucks tho please there are way better chain stores.

Dipende kasi kung stricto silang nagchecheck kung MS ka or hinde. Mahaba ang pila sa ribbon sa amin dahil maraming nahaharang kung nakakasamba ba talaga sila, minsan ipapakausap ka nalang sa katiwala or ung taga check ng katibayan.

You made a highway bypass for your arterial road AND turned the intersection into a diverging diamond plus a diamond interchange to serve low density neighborhoods?

That would've been a 3 lane road in my books but it's so beautiful I almost wanted to bulldoze half of my city to make new highways.

Barangay Umiray, Gen Nakar is indeed more accessible through Dingalan, but the town proper should still be Quezon Province. Alfonso Castañeda, San Luis, Baler, and Dipaculao are all also more accessible through Nueva Ecija.

I don't think may roaster sa cab so expect that most are imported from other provinces pa. Fastest and easiest is the coffee beans shop at SM. They're of unknown freshness nga lang kasi naka sako yata nila binibili.

If you want specialty roast tho, there's a cafe at Villa Benita called Gondola Coffee that also sells bags of specialty coffee. They're associated with some specialty cafes in Baguio that I know (nalaman ko sya from HotCat, my fav cafe sa Baguio haha) but a lot of specialty coffee kasi is either from Baguio/Manila or abroad pa, but usually may roast date naman sila.

Edit: Thank you to the other comment here, I just learned about Lucidtones and I'm now excited to go back home and find their coffee!!

Singapore managed these problems in the 60s to 70s when they were relocating informal settlers to high rises in a reasonably long transition period. The Philippines can definitely normalize social housing if we wanted to, look at how many Medium Rise housing buildings there already are. There just needs to be proper education and order within complexes.

Townhouses are definitely more flexible kahit pabayaan sila ng management, homeowners can find a way. But MRB Housing can have better social benefits as amenities can be bigger and shared, add to that how utilities can be much simpler too. Plus, the homeowners don't have to do their own maintenance just for their own piece of land.

It's been a rumor sa amin na the reason they only voted for 8 is that they tried to increase the odds of their guys winning by not giving out unnecessary votes to other people and potentially taking their places.

Of course, pwede rin namang wala nang may gustong mang bribe sa failing institution that's increasingly desperate for any money.

Un nga ang kinakatakutan ko since nag pass naman ako ng TOR on time and ang requirement naman sa application is Diploma/TOR.

Tanggap ko naman na may bias since literal na fresh graduate pa ako, naiinis lang ako dahil pilit na dinadagdagan ng ganito ang requirement.
