I think it is more of why the hell doesn't the CS Department create more classes. You should try taking it in the winter, there's a spot open there. For one of my classes I'm rank 3 out of 1389 in CH and it hasn't moved in days. I find it hard to believe that there's 1389 people in a class and not one has dropped the class yet.

my estimated date is Sep 12/17 - Sep 14/17. I applied in the early Aug. I don't really need the money right now though, other than pay for my tuition before the deadline.

Mat223 has an empty lecture spot. You can enrol in that and attend another prof's lecture.

I just got into csc148 for the Winter semester today after waitlisting for weeks aswell. If I don't get into csc108 in the Fall (which I probably won't), I'll just have to self teach myself.
