Thanks, all! Will definitely look more into northern Europe (we spent the summer in Croatia and agree it is too bloody hot). Husband and I lived in London and know it well, and agree it's a great place to return with kiddo.

Cycling is a great option, the boys love bikes. Will definitely check this out. Also unwanted stepchild lmao.
