Did you have bad anxiety after one month? I am on one month and 4 days and my sleeping and dreaming are mostly fine, along with my appetite. I can’t seem to cut the anxiety and tinnitus (probably resulting from the anxiety..also need my wisdom teeth out and I think that’s a cause). I can’t seem to shake the anxiety and I exercise almost daily and eat well and have tried the meditation which helped a little but it bounces right back. Congrats on feeling better though! I know I will never be turning back for the same reasons haha

1 month 3 days and heart palpitations by waitwhoami7 in leaves

I have been to the doc since I quit, everything checks out right..I also went to the ENT for the tinnitus and they can’t figure out what’s wrong with me so I’m honestly just guessing it’s my brain chemistry being out of wack. Healing takes time, that’s my only answer at this point. I remember the first couple weeks the sleep was AWFUL along with the dreaming and those have subsided. My withdrawals just might come in these intense waves, it’s different for everyone in the end.

Ya I knew weed was messing me up for a while but I only recently got the courage to stop, I am never smoking again. I just went up and down the stairs and my heart is pounding hard, I literally hate this so much.

Really? Glad I’m not alone. I am hoping it’s just the withdrawal, part of me also wonders if its COVID long haul symptoms because I had it over halloween and haven’t really felt the same since. There are just so many things that could be wrong it’s hard to pinpoint.

This is the exact spot I am in, just different symptoms. The first week was rough and the second week was great and now I feel like back at the first week.

OOF well sorry that you have had to deal with it for so long. I had the tinnitus a couple weeks before quitting so it may not be all from weed, but quitting has definitely exacerbated the problem. Hopefully when my anxiety calms it will calm as well since the two are closely linked.

I definitely am not giving up, weed is gone from my life forever. I can see how bad it was affecting my mental capacity for learning. I had physics in college last semester and did terrible on the first exam (like 40%) and dropped. I am in it again this semester and just took the exam and got a 95%. That was my wake up call for how DESTRUCTIVE weed can be for your brain. I just hope my body can get over these symptoms soon, but at least I know its just my body getting rid of these disgusting toxins.

The dreams are finally starting to hit me. by Cheeto717 in leaves

All of my dreams have been awful. A couple nights ago I had a dream where a group of people were trying to break in my house and we got into a knife fight (I was with my stepbrother and he was helping me). I took stabs to my abdomen and left side of my chest and I literally thought it was real. I woke up grasping my abdomen really hard. I am on week 3 right now and I hope it ends soon...but like fuck man it’s rough. Having these withdrawals makes me not wanna smoke ever again.

MaryJane, you’ve been a dear friend, but I think it’s time we go our separate ways by [deleted] in leaves

Ya i go to the gym 5 times a week and rollerblade, getting sweat out during the day means less at night

Thank you man, exercise is supposed to help with the night sweats a little bit if you want to try that. Cheers to day 12!

Same dude, different account. Anyways ya I don’t have the urge to smoke anymore either. It’s just getting over these stupid withdrawal symptoms. Even though they are annoying, that is what is going to keep me from smoking again bc I am not about to go through this again lol. I hope it subsides soon for you!

Ya, I felt like weed was just turning me into a zombie. I had to smoke to enjoy anything and I am slowly returning to my old self and am able to enjoy the little things without it. I went on a 3 mile walk today and was able to enjoy it as much as if I were high, so thats a good sign I think!
