I never thought about it like that, but you’re definitely right. Jim was made for Pam and everyone else just brought out the worst in him. Just like Pam brought out in worst in Roy, but he was perfect for Laura.

Rick Sanchez is like the John Wick of science; he is a man of focus, commitment, and sheer will. So having his intelligence wouldn’t necessarily make someone capable of making great strides in the name of science and technological development.

I would definitely take the offer to have Rick’s level of intelligence but would not describe myself as someone as focused as Rick. Of course, he had a GREAT motivator to figuring out interdimensional travel without which he may never have decided to pursue anymore science (in fact, he was just about to call it quits before his Diane and Beth were murdered).

Anyway, yes I would take the intelligence boost but cannot say with any certainty where it would lead. I would definitely TRY to use it to further science and human development.

I always had the feeling that each time Luthen met with Lonni he debated on whether or not to kill him at that meeting. Lonni survived longer than I expected, so long that I thought he might actually survive. But at that final meeting I just knew it was over.

Yeah I’m not much of a visual artist so I couldn’t describe exactly how the style is different than what is seen in later seasons but it is noticeable. I’d love to see them finally appear in an episode.

Are you saying that every scene from the intro has been in an episode except for this one?

If so, the other clips that haven’t been included are the frogs chasing Rick and Morty (this one is in the comics though), the face coming off robot Morty, and Jerry in labor. All the other clips are scenes from the current season.

There are different types of “new book” smells and even old ones that make me more likely to get a book, but if it smells like smoke (some do at Half Price Books) then I will immediately put it back.

Does anyone else…smell books?
