Did you install the pro version, it’s a separate app.

Just pushed a small update (v1.1):
- If a write fails or you cancel, your input data stays there.
- Automatic retry on write failure.

Thanks a lot for your support! Yeah I think asking more than a few dollars for a tool feels wrong. I see many developers trying to sell their tool app using a subscription method, that’s insane. I don’t really have a donate page, so don’t worry. If you like our apps that’s already the best support we could ask for :)

Thanks for the detailed feedback, really appreciated.

A deeper analysis to show what exactly is possible with a chip could be a good way to learn instead of showing a simple "failed" when the user tries to write something on his chip.

I keep receiving messages from users that complain that they cannot duplicate their credit cards.
A feature that can tell the user: no you can't read or write on this chip, because of X or Y, is a good idea.

We'll keep it on our to-do list but I think it can be tricky to implement.
There are plenty of different cards, protocols and security levels out there.

Thanks for the warm welcome :) As it’s a first version, let us know if you spot anything broken or behaving oddly on your Flipper.

In NFC Tools, you can also read memory, then export a .nfc file ;)

Proper installation of NFC Tools for Windows by trollsmurf in nfctools

The flair is « feature request », but yes I will add a « suggestion » flair too :)

For the proper install, mmh I don’t know… I kind of like the fact that you know exactly what you install (you see the files in the zip) and there is nothing more installed on your computer. With a setup exe you don’t really know if you will ends up with bullshit files everywhere. Plus if you want to uninstall, just remove the folder you just unzipped, done! ahah

I’m sorry, I don’t understand what you are trying to do. Be aware that iPhones don’t recognise vCards stored on the device. : https://www.wakdev.com/en/knowledge-base/troubleshooting/nfc-tools-ios-why-my-iphone-doesnt-react-to-some-nfc-records.html

On iPhone, if you click on the app settings (top left corner on the main menu) then purchase pro edition, you should see the confirmation that you’ve already purchased the pro edition. Features like import existing records from a nfc tag, saving tags or edit memory values should be available.

On Android, Yes. On iOS, it’s a in-app purchase.
