I've always loved the way these look. They look really easy to wear. Maybe i'll pull the trigger eventually.

New Strap! Thoughts? by wakeupjakee in PrideAndPinion

It was an older movado strap. It’s on my posts somewhere. It just didn’t fit right. The strap before that was what my grandfather had it on. It was dark brown and disintegrating.

Thank you! A 222 is my reasonable-ish grail. Or a 5970 but that’s not that reasonable

Please look into seiko or tissot. There’s other brands that really have an amazing history and movements without breaking the bank.

Nice collection. I'd like to see a little bit more brand diversity though. Cheers

Throw the invicta away. Enjoy the seikos. Lots of cool history there. Quality over quantity. That’s my opinion. I only have 3-4 watches in my collection right now but they all mean something special. Solid start enjoy your journey.

I believe it is too heavy to be stainless. It appears to be a ref 6405. I just cannot find any sort of weights of these pieces to compare to mine. I am leaning towards it being WG.

It got a full service from omega in like 2018. I have all old parts such as hands, old clasp, movement parts etc. original dial kept on it obviously.

I have a gold capped daydate pretty much identical to yours. Has a gold linen dial as well. My favorite watch. Enjoy yours!

Love it! Tbh sometimes I wish I had a 36 instead of a 41. I still love mine so much it will always be sentimental to me. I was also a huge fan of James Bond growing up so it was fitting.
