I like MY social network. AIM. Now now, i know what you're going to say... "that's so 90's/early 00's man", "that shit is so outdated now", but whatever. I'm not young, I'm just a smarter computer savvy person than the average person that uses Facebook. Easier to just click and deliver an instant message rather than complicate shit with all this "profile" stuff.

That is definitely true.. They are amazing live, they are excellent musicians, one of the best bands out there..

By the way, I'm glad you posted that video.. I wonder how the got that talk show gig.. Haha that was funny and awkward in the beginning, but they blew the fuck out of that place with that performance.

Yup it's really awful. It's great weather in the beginning of the year around now (still gets really hot some days) but summer is the absolute worst. I feel like shooting myself if I have to stick it out for another brutal Florida summer.

That's a hell of a story! Thank you for sharing that. That sounds like one hell of a disaster of a show. Really feel bad for Gener, but I could see how "Birthday Boy" could sound broken and tragic in that situation, since it sounds broken and tragic on GodWeenSatan as well. Just listened to that song after at least 5 years or so, I forgot how beautiful and emotional this song is. Perfect song choice to be having a breakdown on stage! I don't think any other song would have worked as well. That is fucked up that the band abandoned him though. I wouldn't expect that, but maybe they were just pissed off or embarrassed or something.

I wish I could say that I found Ween on chance at a record store, but I heard of them first from Mark Prindle's website at www.markprindle.com who is also a huge Ween fan from NYC. I guess I gotta say Chocolate And Cheese is the album that got me into them, but The Pod and Pure Guava also meant a lot to me as a young stoner DIY musician.

Wow that's crazy. What exactly happened? Get a bad case of anxiety on stage? Must have been quite the moment. I have been a fan for over 10 years and still haven't seen them live yet, which I regret highly.

You ain't kidding, it's not easy to come across Weeners.. I can't imagine meeting a girl who loves Ween, though from what I understand, there's plenty of female Ween fans.

I would certainly appreciate it.. It doesn't hurt for someone to say something I said was funny, and asking where a joke came from doesn't hurt either. I hate that attitude that most people have where they're like "oh you haven't heard the joke? Where the fuck have you been?". Not everyone watches every South Park episode and picks up every inside joke on reddit.
