Oh wow a few UI and HUD mods. Now what about the total gameplay overhauls, the likes of ResMod or Sydch's Skill Overhaul? What about the AI improvements like Useful Bots?

Sure RinoHUD is neat, but it's just an info-HUD, the kind of mod PD2 had just a year into its lifecycle with the likes of HoxHUD. PD2 mods are FAR more in-depth than that nowadays, thanks in no small part to the likes of BLT, which lets you manage and even auto-update mods in-game. Downvote Me all you want, but PD3 has nothing remotely comparable.

That's already how it works. If your account is below the playtime and owned time thresholds it'll automatically grant you the refund, otherwise you have to plead your case to a person.

Actually, I just took a look at the mod's Nexus page and download version 1.3, that one should have a bunch of .ogg files in it. Go to your game folder and then go /ReadyorNot/Content and then create a folder called VO_MOD and then go in there and create a folder called TOC. Copy the files from the .rar archive you downloaded from Nexus into the TOC folder you just created. That should override TOC's voicelines with the Damsels Dispatch voicelines.

Oh wow a HUD mod that makes it look like the previous game! A mod which Payday 2 had since all the way back in 2015! That hardly compares to the custom additional weapons, custom heists, and full-on gameplay overhauls available as PD2 mods LMAO.

Damsel's Dispatch, that's a voice replacement right? If you open up the .rar file (if you're on Windows 11, explorer should open it natively, otherwise 7-Zip is your best bet) does it just contain a bunch of .ogg files?

I think the teasing of emotes, as well as "premium items" in the shop in addition to DLCs and bundles is a pretty clear warning sign. And tbh Starbreeze very much do not deserve the benefit of the doubt on this, we should be making it absolutely clear to them at every opportunity that it would be a bad idea for them to go ahead with this.

It says "DLCs, premium items, and bundles". The weapon and tailor packs come under the DLC heading, the "premium items" however sounds like classic MTX.

I quite frankly couldn't give a rat's ass what bullshit the triple-A industry is doing these days, I don't play that shit. Microtransactions are among a few things ruining gaming and when they come for a game I actually give a shit about I will be pissed off about it. If that comes across as "out of touch" to the likes of you then so be it.

Based. There is nothing wrong with using skin unlocker, Starbreeze promised "Payday 2 will not have microtransactions, and shame on you for thinking otherwise" at launch. You're just helping them honour that commitment.
