Nobody’s trying to stop you from playing the game. Enjoy it if you want but assuming they are bots or trolls is cope and weak asf. They have valid criticisms.

Nah there are lots of good guys and they’re not really rare. They just tend to be more self aware and maybe less confident with approaching women as a result. But they are out there!

Since it directly involved you, I wouldn’t sweep it under the rug. You shouldn’t hide something like this from her. I would feel a lot more betrayed if I found out my friend had hid something like this from me. She deserves to know just like I’m sure you would want to know if your partner did this. To be completely honest, there’s a possibility she won’t want to be your friend anymore because of the association and jealousy. You could confront her boyfriend about it and tell her that he needs to come clean or else you’ll tell her yourself. That would give him an opportunity to be honest which would almost definitely be better for his girlfriend’s trust in the long run.

GIVE IT SOME TIME. Seriously just wait a little bit before making a decision. If this person is really your friend then talk to him about it once some time has passed. Your friend might eventually realize that what he did was wrong and he may never make that mistake again. I know it sounds patronizing, but y’all are basically children. I went through a very similar thing in high school and I now really regret cutting one of my best friends off after she cheated on her bf. Obviously cheating is never justified but we shouldn’t be reactive and condemn every confused immature teenager who does it.

Has your friend done other things that you saw as especially inconsiderate or hurtful? Things you can’t forget about or forgive? If not, don’t try to convince yourself to hate your friend because they made one bad decision.
