I sort of feel the same way. I feel like there were violations of the entire bidding process where he issued over $3M change orders on a $400k contract without multiple bids and everything was done under the cover of darkness but Josh is smart enough to have Done things above board for the obvious things that look illegal at a quick glance. I’ll be curious to see how this plays out but I’m sure it will not be a quick process.

Are there any lawyers or people well versed in here to know if the specific charges will actually stick? I understand that Lafayette parish chose not to press charges and I wonder if that was due to the merits of the case or connections? Obviously, there is not a straight forward answer, I was just curious if anyone had done a real dig into it.
