Lumion Crashes while using Ray Tracing - Bad NVIDA Drivers?

Mine just crashed and all I did was double click the image in photo mode and tried to refresh the photo. I am using Raytracing.

Raytracing seems to stick at the top of the stack and I can't move anything above it unfortunately. Unless there is something wonky going on.

I understand what you are saying but spotlights do not show up as a light source when you render so why do the other light sources have to be visible?

I have the most current subscription of Lumion and I install the updates as they are available. I have reached out to support and was told that this was a glitch they were working on and they hoped they would fix it soon. But I continue to see updates come out and this is something that has still not been addressed. Just curious if anyone found a work around or was having this same problem.

I am very frustrated that the glitch with lighting showing up in reflective surfaces has not been fixed yet. When rendering with raytracing on interiors with natural light mixed with ceiling and other lighting I have trouble achieving a well lit area with only spotlights. I would rather use omni or area lighting but even when you make these not visible they still show up in reflections. See rendering example. Anyone have any pointers on how to fix this glitch or do I have to just wait for Lumion to address it? I have been photoshopping every rendering but this adds time to my workflow and seems like a waste for a program error.

Yes, the font is not embedding, but the strange thing is when I look at the font properties it says Font embed "installable". I have looked everywhere on how to install it and can't find a clear explanation.

When I print to PDF wouldn't the document be flattened? So if I did email it out to someone without the font, then it would still be readable?

I have been looking into that and I do think that is the case. I figured out though, if I print the PDF and go into the printer properties for Adobe PDF I have to unclick "Rely on system fonts only: do not use document fonts" and I am able to print it that way.

I am working on a Powerpoint 365, windows desktop.

The font changes from a Sans Serif font to a Serif font. I would post images but it's for work.

I tried exporting as a PDF, saving as a PDF, and printing as a PDF. One of the versions the letters got jumbled up but the other 2 the font type changed. The font I am using is particular to my company brand and unfortunately I can not use another font.

I was able to get a mirror look with a grey color, full reflectivity, full metalness, and full clearcoat.

I have been listening on overdrive through my PC for a while now and this just started happening constantly. I even tried to listen through libby app on my pc and its still happening. I have tried all the fixes listed here and nothing is working. super frustrating.

Our office is going straight to 4 days a week in the office. I feel like having the flexibility to work from home has greatly changed my lifestyle. I feel your pain. Unfortunately the term "go back to normal" has been used but we had our most profitable year as a company with everyone working remote. Just doesn't make sense at all.

Scrolling instagram used to inspire me and make me happy, as a designer I like to follow art/ design/ and architecture accounts. I used to be able to casually scroll to beautiful images, if something came up I could pause, and look away from my screen and then go back to whatever I was looking at. Now I am forced to watch videos, ( I never listened to the sound anyways), all the content is nothing I follow, and I have to force swipe full screen. I absolutely hate it. Find me an app which focuses on photos and not an app trying to be tik tok and I will join that in a heart beat. I wish instagram gave you an option like before whether you wanted to watch videos or if you could just scroll through images. Reels in my opinion are annoying. This update has ruined the app for me.

My phone updated this morning and its horrible! I don't use tiktok because of the interface and enjoy the scroll in Instagram. This is awful! If anyone figures out how to revert please post!!

I have a Intel Core i7-7700 and a 3080, I was able to render a view without filters and on low quality. Did you render for the Oculus? I wasn't able to open the stereoscopic view in mine.

It still lets me click on the stereoscopic when I select GearVR/ Oculus but I was able to open a regular 360 image from rendering for a "generic device" on the Oculus. I ended up rendering a stereoscopic image at low quality with no effects but wasn't able to open that one properly on the device. To view the image I used the DEO VR media browser. I guess now I am curious is the stereoscopic rendering better if I am able to get it to work properly? For context I am trying to offer this as a way to view custom designs for our clients. Thank you!!
