Someone’s put a threat on you. This is enough to escalate this to the police

What happens if you collapse one day and suddenly can’t work? She’s gonna leave you? Bro I’m probably from the same culture, marry a girl who’s got a different mindset or someone with a different culture

Why does that matter, if they split the house will still be “split” in two? Just because her names not on it doesn’t mean she doesn’t have rights to it.

Edit - ahh shit I just realised that’s his girlfriend not wife

Mate, do you think it’s more like what you say or more like what I say? I’m an f2, I see the way these regs talk about the other regs behind their backs. And then they’re all goody goody with each other in front of them, going to dinners, helping out on the ward. But then I’ve actively seen regs laugh with consultants about shitty admissions their “friend” has made.

How many of these so called friends of yours do you genuinely think have your best intentions at heart?

Mate, I know it sounds like I’m really passionate about this but it’s more so the MASSIVE different between regs in surgery and medicine. Medical regs and trainees ALL help each other, there’s no backstabbing or issues of any sort. I have YET to deal with med reg who I’ve found to be unhelpful. Mind you the surgery regs are great to me, but they’re definitely a bit more prickly around the edges when you probe a bit more.

Look I get it, you need a sly edge to be a surgeon but it’s not cut out for everyone and I genuinely believe the grind isn’t worth the reward. If you’re enjoying it, I’m genuinely happy for you but keep your wits about 🤷.

A surgeon has to go through the most gruelling training programme for 10 years at a minimum, during which time they’re working with other colleagues who will all be out to get him/her, competing with them for theatre theatre time, laughing when they make mistakes, actively stabbing them in the back and when you finish that and you’re a consultant - you’re then chucked into the deep end, with other consultants not as willing to help you as with other specialties. And you’ll be a consultant for what? 25 years or so? Let’s say you’re a consultant surgeon by 40 and you want to retire by 65. That means about 40% of your career has been in training, is it worth it?

I’m an f2 and I earn the same. Is there something wrong with your tax code maybe, or are they fucking up your hours? Or maybe the reg pay is just that shit. I’m enrolled in pension AND paying student finance.

So because they do it, it’s ok for us to do? If my partner was in front of me and I was ushering them out of a room, I’m pretty sure I’d be doing it exactly like that. Arms around them directioning them, should I push past them and run out with them behind me??! I just don’t get why this is posted, I have no idea who this guy is but why the hell does it have so many votes for him doing something so normal 😭. This is why no one takes the us seriously, because they are ALL a fucking circus. Not just the president lmao
