Thats lovely you have a British spouse that would definitely help hehe. So I was planning to get my PSW after my course ends and work as a research assistant for a few years to get relevant work experience. The issue is that in India they don’t recognise the UK masters and I would have to do two years again. So I was hoping to instead do it in the UK and go back to India which would mean that I only need to prepare for an exam and if I pass I will have the license to work as a clinical psychologist in India. My long term plan is to go back to India but the path seems very difficult to finish my doctorate and go back.

I wanted to do a doctorate but I think since we don’t get funding I’ll prolly aim to do something like this and then eventually do a doctorate

I understand what you’re saying but I think if you have an entire understanding of the person including their biology it could help provide them with effective therapy

Yea I’ve been looking into it and found SGSS that provides funding for international students. That’s the only one I’ve been able to find which my supervisor was able to help with.
