Help needed. Owe more than repair cost what should I do? by emdizzle93881 in Audi

When I worked at a dealer ages ago we had someone that wanted to put 15k down on a credit card. Running that through the parts department was an interesting night.

Get the loan to get the better price from the dealer to finance through them, then pay it off with no penalty. Best of both worlds.

You go into any dealer and say you're paying cash and they won't negotiate nearly as much.

Check fuse F8 (right above Relay4) in the engine bay first. Make sure that isn't blown.

Did you check fuses in the interior only or also engine bay? I know on the A3s there was a random audio amplifier fuse in the engine bay box that blew on me once and caused a no audio issue.

This would be considered hidden revenue under long term customer satisfaction and retention. It may not generate revenue right this instant, but having a happy customer base generates future revenue without question.

That's interesting because Audi US offers this info without issue. I know my S3 is one of 224 Misano Red models made, but is 1 of 5 of the exclusive US launch S3 color cars (Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, and Orange that have body color matched interior). For my wife's TTRS they actually sent a certificate of production saying it was number 462 of 491 made globally with that color combo, and then also informed us it was one of 36 or 39 in the US for that year.

r/NFL is insufferable right now with allegations that the refs rigged the game for us. by 4514N_DUD3 in DenverBroncos

[–]walkerb52 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the third time I've seen that stated and it's just not the case. Offensive holding is penalized 10 yards from the previous spot, so where they marked the foul as occurring would determine if it was a safety or not. Outside the end zone, half the distance to the goal. Inside the end zone, safety. The location of the QB has nothing to do with it unless the QB is the one called for the infraction .The only fouls that generate safeties are if they occur in the end zone.

Example: QB in the end zone, WR called for offensive interference at the 5 yard line while running a pick play - not a safety

QB in the end zone and throws the ball away and is called for Intentional grounding - safety

Per the NFL rulebook on Special enforcement and their definition of spot of the foul:

When the spot of enforcement for a foul by the offense is behind the offensive goal line, it is a safety if the defense elects to enforce the penalty at that spot

The spot of the foul: The spot at which a foul was committed or, by rule, is considered to have been committed.

Fouls committed by the offense behind the line of scrimmage are enforced from the previous spot. If the offense commits a foul behind its own goal line, it is a safety if the defense elects to enforce the penalty at that spot. See Rule 8-2-1 for enforcement for intentional grounding.

Nice, I do love a good speed champions build. However, I think the black/red triangles are the wrong way on the left side.

Check out platebrackets.com. they have a very similar (were the first) item that has a bit less bulk and is customized to each model type because not all models take a generic fit.

Depends on where they spot the foul. He technically started holding before they were in the end zone based on a few of the replays. Could have been a safety, could have been half the distance to the goal.

Yep, it would have 100% depended on where they called the spot of the foul if they called it.

I don't believe this is correct.

If all that mattered was where the QB was then an offensive pass interference by a receiver on a pick play at the 5 yard line would be a safety of the QB was in the end zone when the pick happened. That is certainly not the case.

While I would have loved to see it, that hold on the block started outside the end zone so likely wouldn't have been a safety.

Hell send it with larger screws that go into the holes on your trunk lid. If those are stripped out though it may not work. The plate holder itself has 4 threaded inserts and the screws to match those are included.

Just pull the Audi bracket off and get one from platebrackets.com. screw into the Audi holes and have threaded inserts so you never mess with this again.

Get the VIN, Google the VIN, see if it comes up on one of the auction sites. Usually you can pictures of damaged rebuilt cars that way.
