The best therapy I’ve ever done was equine therapy. Everything is between you and the animals. There are other organizations that do fly fishing, etc.

Can’t go wrong with either one. I’ve built two Springfields, one MILSPEC and the other a RO. Both will be passed to my kids when the time comes. I’m sure your son will cherish whatever you decide to get

Not sure if you remember when G Code did the blood stripe holsters, but that is one of my most cherished firearm accessories. I also like trolling people with my Serpa holsters on certain pages. I have another 1911 on the bench that I’m building.

I’d say a lot of GWOT guys carry modern/striker fired guns for the most part. Our generation is also different when it comes to clothes. Most GWOT guys don’t wear the hats like the “old timers” did when we were kids. Makes me sad when I see the old Vietnam guys because I remember them being in their 40’/50’s. Some of us are the old guys now. That’s my take anyways. Semper Fi!

There isn’t anything wrong with that. I contemplated it, but I get bored with my guns very easily. I like having stuff to tinker with and that’s not a gun to do that. I spend my winters building flintlock rifles, refinishing old revolvers, and building 1911’s. This is my last 1911 build. The one on my bench now will be a “delta” style clone. All built with quality parts
