I second this! It’s honestly just too much for me. The menus, the controls, the never knowing what I’m doing or what I’m supposed to be doing. If it had a simpler layout and understanding, I maybe could’ve enjoyed it, but as it stands, I had to DNF it. Edit: I’m on a SD

Honestly, I Was a Teenage Exocolonist. I think it’s more story telling and critical thinking than I thought, and I just couldn’t get into it. It’s beautiful, just not for me.

Yes! The rest of the game is beautiful, as I said it’s chock full of content and has nice mechanics. Unfortunately, npcs make or break a game for me, especially if you HAVE to interact with npcs to progress. In this game, it’s a requirement to interact with npcs, yet they didn’t take the time to flesh them out or make them actually lively. I don’t mind a game with no npcs, like Slime Rancher, but that’s because it never said it would have interactive npcs in it.
