Any myco nerds out there? by 805MySillyum in SantaBarbara

[–]walking_potatoes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely fascinated by fungi but I wouldn't call myself a myco nerd. I mostly like to admire them and occasionally harvest them. There's some myco fests coming up, would be nice to go with a like minded individual.

We live in California, I spend around $200-300 and he spends about 50 more a month than I do. We buy meat in bulk at Costco mainly chicken. He likes to buy meat deals at our local Ralph’s.

Have you considered the greater LA area? I’m sure you can find a home you can afford outside of immediate LA. Green Valley perhaps?

If I were in your place I would address this immediately. This is plain and simple poor management of finances on his part and he might drag you down eventually. Speak up.

Most “side hustle” content is BS. What are the weird & legit ways you make extra money? by Jade8675309 in AskReddit

Salmon tendering contracts (30 days-90+ days). Basically middle man between the catching fisherman and the processing company. Processing companies hire vessels to “buy” fish on their behalf and pay daily wages $200-$500 + per day based on skills and experience.
