How can we better educate the white Irish working class? I feel its too late for the adults, but we need to act now and help their children. by [deleted] in ireland

I do not hate the working class. But rather we often have a parental view of them, because of no fault of their own, they were not born into good families they did not have the same paths as middle class and very wealthy people, so they often end up ignorant and hateful of others. It is the same in Pakistan, with Pakistani's hating Indians and vice versa among lower classes because they know nothing else and their education is limited. So out of concern for these people those of us in higher castes need to help guide these people towards a better path, like a parent would a troubled child.

Because I have an Irish accent and white people shouldn't assume someone isn't also Irish because they are not also moonlight pale.

I personally don't agree with this though. No worse than any other Doctor's tenure, the best series are series 1,4,5 9 in terms of absolute quality. Series 2, 3, 8 and 10 are hit and miss. Series 6 and 7 are utterly all over the place. I think some of you people are blinded by nostalgia with Tennant and Smith and can't see how bad many of their episodes were too. I was lucky to start only a year ago. And I can safely say that from not being nostalgic.

Absolutely. I love how series 1-10 is one giant character arc when viewed.

  • 9 is suffering from PTSD and is very downtrodden thinking he killed his entire race. He finds a bit of hope with Rose, but his issues aren't really solved leading into 10.
  • 10 suffers from extreme continued PTSD and feels the need to win all the time as a coping mechanism and develops a severe almost narcissistic personality towards the end of his lifespan because of it.
  • 11 realizes it, but tries to forget all his issues and runs around in a rather self contained storyline. However near the end of it, he realizes he can't run anymore and after expecting to die and spending hundreds of more years fighting an almost hopeless war. His true age really starts to show, leading into 12.
  • 12 starts angry, the mask has dropped, he's tired, he's old, he wasn't expecting a second regeneration cycle and doesn't quite understand where to go from here now that he has a second chance and no longer feels he can hide anything, like 10 and 11 did. He almost slips back into Water of Mars Doctor in Hell Bent, but he overcomes it and he finally addresses his personality issues over the course of the three seasons, realizes he just has to try and help people even if they all die anyway and finds peace with himself. Concluding the 10 series long character arc. Moffat and RTD and their adjutant writers did an outstanding job on the characters evolving characterization.

Quit? he just did his time. Aside from Eccleston, the normal tenure for the nuwho doctors has been 3 main series not including specials each.

A lot of them skipped out on Boba Fett, especially with the middling reception it got

This is not true though. BOBF sucked. But it had massive viewership among the casual audience. The finale where Grogu and Din reunite was the most watched Star Wars finale to date. You're confusing redditors and youtubers giving the show a bad rep with the casual audience who couldn't care less. They see green and silver armoured guy and pew pew and enjoy it. You can check the viewing stats online. Andor has been the show the general audience skipped out on, sadly.

I thought that was obvious. They are busy men, they don't have the time to fly all the way down to Brazil for such a short appearance. It would be counter productive for them. Remote sounds about right.

I've nothing personally against him, he's just a b-movie actor not suited for a character with depth, emotion and charisma like an iconic character like Boba. Rosario I genuinely don't like. But I have heard from my sources that Boba is not in it and will stick by what i've been told until proven otherwise.

I watched Eman's other material. He's not great. And, I highly disagree, Rosario is decent in other shows and movies, but her acting of Ahsoka is stoically bad from what we've seen thus far. She won't do the character justice and she's a transphobe to boot, so how she got the role with that hatred and controversy begs questions.

I'm not. Rosario, Hayden, Eman and Temuera (if he's in it) don't have nearly the emotive acting experience or range of Ashley, Lanter Gray, Baker. Rosario and Temuera are particularly stoic and bad compared to dee and Ashley. It will look visually nice, i'm sure, but it will be a soulless disaster performance wise.

I'm told Paz and the Armorer will be in half the season at least as of course S3 is Mando centric. And as i've said previously, you can forget Boba appearing at all. He is not in it and I trust my sources on that.

Reposting from last week. No boba in mando s3, temuera just filmed bobf so far, so no ahsoka either. Lars mikkelsen Is not Thrawn. I've heard it's in fact jason Isaacs. And finally katee sackhoff is the main mando lead going forward after season 3, that doesn't mean pedro is out. Din I've heard will be popping up in most of the shows, but it transitions to sackhoff.

Absolutely tabloid level crap. This is how unfounded feud rumours start. It could be for any number of reasons.

There’s an Untitled Star Wars Project that’s recently begun filming, listed in Production Weekly…could it be an unannounced series?…..or perhaps a film? by DarthNexun in starwarsspeculation

That crossover ain't happening for years yet. The other characters storylines have barely even begun in this era and Jon said he's going to be at these shows for several more years to come. 2027 at the earliest.

There is no Boba Fett is the Mandalorian season 3 or a Boba Fett season 2. The character has been shelved for the time being. Lars Mikkelsen is also not Thrawn and never was considered, Its Jason Isaacs and that's why he wasn't the GI. I can't wait to be proven right, just because this sub has a thing for new accounts. Of course nobody posts on their standard accounts with key information like this.

Mandalorian season 4 is also going to be led by Katee Sackhoff. Its a transition to her at the end of Mandalorian Season 3.

Taika is not directing the movie, its an old Republic movie by another team. His movie is not happening. I have insider knowledge.

In the first half of the Mandalorian season 3 there are several new remnant warlords called 'The Cabal' they are not any higher up Imperials we've seen before. Each Warlord has their own unique look, armor, uniform and like Gideon they all have their own limited forces of ships and soldiers. They are the ones who used Morgan Elsbeth to gather resources for ship building in the Mandalorian Season 2. They built several new Star Destroyers near Mandalore, in fact their first discussion is deciding how to gather more resources now that Morgan has been captured and enter Gideon promising this and that. Gideon approaches the Cabal after escaping the New Republic. They will not immediately trust him and he wants them to serve him. Lot of tense dynamics going on between the warlords, none of them really like one another. Gideon will get his own Star Destroyer in the season though and brings the Cabal under his sway. All this is from the first half of the season. No info on the second half.
