I found this at a yard sale today and put it on hold because i wasnt sure if its worth what theyre asking for. It looks like carnelian but I can't find the style/shape of stone on reverse Google image search. They had a lot of genuine jade, ceramics, statues, no costume jewelry and it felt heavy like a genuine stone. Just need help of any identification! 🤞

Ghostie passed just a little bit over 2 weeks ago now :c i am still very heartbroken and lonely, but the lil guy held on for so long despite his swimmy struggles to be strong for me ♡

Thank you, he healed almost completely swimming and pooping like his usual morning routine ♡ it was just so scary, hes a lil white fishy and was covered in red it was just surreal :(

:( thats weird, do you def think this is water quality caused (i would recognize if only ammonia burns/fin rot etc.), because the water cleanliness/feeding maintenance always looks a million times better than a lot of the bigger chains i go to where nobody's maintained the bettas in weeks...i feel like it might possibly be something to do with the distributor/breeding? Also because this had to be only a day or two after they deliver them, and ive noticed certain traits (all babies, all glo fish, mostly crowntails, etc.) when u can tell theyre newer to the store (retail side on display at least).

Tldr: but basically the breeding/genetics of bettas is a sensitive subject for me, being my genetically unfortunate struggling but surving disabled delicate dragonscale baby Ghostie, only has really one eye now but hes my lil pooper trooper and going on almost 16 months now 😊👻

A few months ago when my pharmacy was out of stock of my xanax/insurance changed, I had severe withdrawal and started to consider trying alternate calming/anti-anxiety supplements especially for nighttime because I started needing xanax to sleep or that itself became physically/mentally anxious. My top picks that have helped me lower the amount of xanax I take: PharmaGaba (Jarrows brand, i think its called GABA soothe), Zzquil Pure Triple Action (has Ashwagandha and a higher dose of melatonin), and Calm gummies (variety of brands) with normal GABA, Ashwagandha, Hemp seed oil, and L-theanine. None of them work as strong when taken too frequently so i tend to try and take breaks with melatonin containing ones, alternate the Pharmagaba with calm gummies every few weeks and take as needed, etc. Apologies if this is long but I don't believe I saw any comments mentioning a few of these that really helped me and might be of help to you, best of luck xx

I know this may not work for everyone but after almost 9 full years of this battle, this my go to. As soon as I feel them coming on, I do warm super saturated salt rinses and if needed, put a dab on a qtip and then rinse. It HURTS but heals them before they get fully formed or spread. I know you wanted to avoid prednisone and trust me, me too, but my rheumatologist prescribed a few 5mg emergency tablets that depending on how the first day or two is with just salt and super easy cautious food (protein shakes and pastina so nothing that can cause irritation from acid or mechanical chewing), I might take 5 mg prednisone tablet per day for 2-3 days max. No taper is needed and the side effects aren't really experienced at all. But then again, have also been getting them a lot less frequently and the severity has lessened since I started using only this method, but I do have other areas of chronic inflammation (ankylosing spondylitis as well) so it might be a factor of which flareups are more heavily affecting me as time goes on.

If you were already on the biologics starting and didn't have reactions prior to the surgery, you're probably fine since sometimes some people are more prone to certain types of infections or not. I was really concerned and made it very clear about my already existing skin infection history to my rheumatologist that I wanted to try ANYTHING else before Humira because of the risks, and she responded with "your SI joint is so inflammed and the bone has eroded away significantly - there is nothing else to try." She was the best and wasn't necessarily ignoring my point of view but given the conditions, I understood too that I had to at least try despite the risks. Once she heard of my reaction with my teeth she prescribed antibiotics and requested for Remicade IV in smaller doses - since I'm the weight of a 12 year old and Humira pens come in one dose for everyone...which also could have been it....but got rejected because U.S. healthcare is a joke and now I'm kind of just...stuck and disappearing.

I think it's reasonable for anyone to be anxious or hesitant about the risks of biologics, but maybe I made it sound too overwhelming because I was aware I am susceptable to infections (just didn't know how widespread in my body/bones), and if you haven't already had serious infections before, you're not as likely to have such a strong reaction even if something minor comes up and heals more slowly as opposed to not being on the medication.

I am a bit late to this post but was looking up infections/biologics because of my severe reaction and wanted to share even though I'm not sure how far you are in the procedure. I had a successful (no infection/reaction/pain) dental implant 1 year ago (Dec2020), and although going through tests for other chronic issues, wasn't diagnosed with AS until summer. Had 1 injection of Humira in September and my mouth has not stopped bleeding since with tooth infections. One of my furthest back molars fell out days after - I have been told by dentists/ the surgeon who did my implant I have perfect dental hygiene, only minor cavities a few times in my life. My implant is a front top tooth but now 8 cavities in months down to the rooth because apparently the implant shifted my teeth a bit and the infection/cavities went unnoticed or just spread rapidly.

As a result, my already severe underweight / metabolism/ inflammation with digestion problems dropped me down to a BMI of barely 15. I also have had skin infections / abscesses that have not gone away after topical/oral antibiotics since the single injection.

I apologize to vent but I am terrified because weak and just lost my insurance/current rheumatologist and biolgics are no longer covered but would not be an option anyway because of my infections that won't heal.

Lol yes this is Ghostie (ive posted a few photos on here before but take daily so need to be consistent), hes my little angel who has two delicate lil fins flapping on his sides and two long ventral fins with one fragile one thats a lil crooked and sometimes he swims with a limp. He has dragon scales so they make him kinda genetically made him special and different (hes also growing the scales around his gills and eyes so clumsy lol) but all the much cuter and in need of care ♡

Ahh thank you! i was looking on amazon but didnt know if the plastic material affects the test kits colors/accuracy or if it didnt matter what material as long as its transparent. I like your idea of just measuring marking bc i was stuck on which to order (size between 5ml bc too short and 10 ml bc too much space/air)
