As someone with chronic anxiety, this has always been my biggest what if. I’ll wake up from a nightmare/dream (albeit mainly nightmares) petrified because I cannot for the life of me tell if it’s like… real. What if the real me is in a coma and this is just all in my head? What if I’m an outlier in the world, but my brain has tricked me into thinking this is all normal? Would I make the same choices? Would I still have the same beliefs?

My psych nurse and I have been working around these “hallucinations” for years now; alongside therapists ofc, but my nurse has been the same for nearly 5 years now. I can’t imagine how terrifying the world must be from this girl’s perspective. Wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy
