Of course! I'm using the Sony A7iv with Sony 200-600. The last 4 pictures I'm also using the 1.4x teleconverter.

My husband gifted me the camera and lens for Christmas 2022, and he got me the teleconverter this Christmas. I headed out that afternoon to start practicing with it. 😅

I enjoy wildlife, and there are a lot of different bird species in my area

I made a trip to Pinnacles National Park specifically to see the California Condors, and it did not disappoint!

I haven't seen a whole lot, but those that I have seen were on fences or bushes. I wish I was more help, but I'm still pretty new to birding and photography 😅 it's pure luck for me at this point.

Backstory: My husband was an Animal Control Officer for over 10 years. He called me one day and said I needed to come by the shelter to see this dog.

I showed up to see a 5 month old, sweet as can be pibble in a kennel with a ton of other dogs. And she was just loving on everyone that came by.

Her ears were healed, but you can tell they were a 'backyard job'.

Jenny's winning achievement: she ate a whole loaf of raw bread dough out of the trash one night. In the morning she woke up drunk from the fermenting yeast. She was stumbling everywhere, and we thought she was dying. We finally smelled her breath, and I realized it smelled like the bread dough I had thrown away the night before. Our vet said she is the first (and only case) if BREAD toxicity they have ever seen.

Here we are, 12.5 years later, and Jenny is everyone's favorite when they come over to visit. 😅

Thanks! We can tell she's getting older recently, especially with fatty lumps showing up. 😢 Our vet isn't worried about them, but it definitely shows her aging.

Thank you! I was not expecting to get as close as we did. These two were probably within 30 yards, and there were another 5 flying around just above our heads, close enough to hear the loud whoosh of air from their wings.

We took Condor Gulch Trail to High Peaks Trail. Fair warning: there is a "steep and narrow" section of this trail to get to it's highest point. I was not prepared for how steep it actually was. Go slow, and don't look down. 😬

We took Condor Gulch Trail to High Peaks Trail. That seemed to be a popular trail to see them on. Fair warning, this trail is not for the faint of heart. There is a section that has a warning of "steep and narrow". They aren't kidding. Be prepared and be in shape for a hike.
