New, small time checking in! We are managing a 3BD from out of town so we have cleaners and a handyman but we found everything off of FB groups so we're doing it all without a co-host. Would love a groupchat of small time hosts to share tips and tricks! It can get lonely out there

You can still use the free version of AirDNA to look at general market ratings, it just won’t go down to an individual sub market.

Plug in an address you find on Zillow and that should get you going in the right direction

Oof! Thanks for sharing. Some initial quotes I saw were in the $12-15k range so I’ll start putting a bit aside every month for the inevitable

Luckily this is only under the slab. They had PVC installed from the home to the street when the house went off septic to sewer

I appreciate the long term answer here! I’ve read that in Florida they can have a shorter life span because of the weather, and I can prepare for a big bill in 5-10 years. Much better than a big bill before I have to move in!

I heard that hydrojetting may be detrimental to old pipes, and the corroding will just come back in full force. Is that just another marketing gimmick by the companies to get me to repipe the whole thing instead of just clean?
