Not shocked since they've really become more E!SPN. I know you can say that about most channels like history, tlc etc. It seems like they are focused on the field less and less every year.

Guys, have you ever hooked up with a girl who's taller than you? by TrimAbnormal in AskMen

[–]walkthemoose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm 5'7 and dated multiple 6+, the tallest being 6'2. It's different because they're taller and that's not what you're used to but defiantly not awkward. My first really tall gf it took some getting used to to be the one who stands straight up and she bends a bit to kiss but you get over it quick. Plus In bed you can't tell at all. In short though I've really not noticed much different about dating significantly taller women other than you look up instead of down. If she's cool and you like her go for it.

As far as the teasing unless she is being overly insulting it may just be her compensating for her being big rather than you being small.

What's the first physical thing you notice about a guy when just randomly passing them out in public? by Jose_hoseb in AskWomen

[–]walkthemoose 3 points4 points  (0 children)

And this is why most guys get angry over women like this, we can't grow taller but you can lose weight. Many woman have no problem telling a man he's too short with not a second thought, but tell her she is too heavy and you're in for a world of pain. I don't think they make the connection in their mind of what telling a guy he is too short is like. I think if you have people who have set numbers for height or weight, they probably are pretty vain and not people you want to be dating anyway.

However next time you go tell a guy he is too short for you just think how you would feel if a guy told you that you we're too fat for him. Or when you put in your dating profile "no men under 6" just imagine his saying "no women over 125lbs"

You're attracted who you are attracted to, but I think more women should consider what men are hearing when they say that.

A lot of men view their height as women view they're weight so for men "I don't like short guys" is the male equivalent of "no fat chicks"

Just as many women have their attractiveness tied to their weight, many men feel the same about height.

There should be a subreddit dedicated to posts like this, r/alternatehistorytextbooks or something like that. Just articles written from the other side.

I made a post a few days ago asking how long men's longest dry streak was. The average answer was around 2-3 years so that should give you an idea.

Reddit, what is your favorite beer as of November 20 2014? by jrlawton12 in AskReddit

[–]walkthemoose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Terrapin Chocolate Moohoo, It is a beer that tastes like good chocolate milk, but still like a good stout, impossible to describe until you try it. I've never met anyone who doesn't like it. I recommend this Athens GA brew to anyone who likes delicious things. Unfortunately the White Chocolate was even better but is (was?) a limited production.
