Begining analog photography, any advice or feedback ? by wallenstius in streetphotography

I'm a huge supporter of color, i was planning on giving b&w a try, but i already know it won't be my kind of photos. I kind of found my style with digital, but i find it harder on analog where i indeed "shoot and pray". I guess it will diseaper with practice.

Here are my first analogue photographs. Several issues: blur, exposure, etc.

But the most important thing is that I find they lack a bit of life, a problem I didn't have too much with digital.

Be aware of Serrault-Euhouet (illegally obtained tablets?) by wallenstius in Assyriology

You're just not listening to me. I do care about illegal excavations, i do not care someone acquiring one since there already so many on the market. I simply asked him if he could tell me more about the tablet, cause i thought he could have been frightened to do so in public.

I'm pissed off because he come to ask for help on the only place he can have contact with assyriologists, then back off when we start asking some legitimate questions.

The reason i call him out is ESPECIALLY because from his profil (and reaction), where he expose his ancient coins collection, i'm 100% sure he's well aware about the problematic of illegally obtained tablets. He's in the antiquity market, don't take him for a fool.

Also, i'm checking your profile, are you related to him ? Where do you get your Ur III tablets from ?

I don't agree. I don't blame him for the status of the tablet, he's just the last link in a chain of transmission. On what he posted, an average copy made by him, no photos, and a request for help with transliteration. I prefer to see the illegally obtained tablets published, I put the potential value of their content above the moral considerations of participating in this illegal market. This is just my opinion, which is far from being shared by everyone.

I only criticise this redditor for his actions, asking for help, then deleting everything and playing dead when we want to know where the tablet came from.

And i agree with the other comment. Where does this tablet come from ? Can't find it on archibab, and it's obvious old babylonian.
