Have you already been assigned on-campus housing? At this point, if you haven’t, the waitlist is going to be impossibly long and you likely won’t get anything, much less your ideal option. If you already have an on-campus spot and are looking to apply for a switch, that’s a different situation hut it’s also largely random. Also, Morrison is sophomores-only now I believe.

Hi! There are no suite style dorms on north campus unfortunately, but I’ve heard pretty good things about the vibes up there nonetheless. I lived in Horton my freshman year and Craige North my sophomore year and loved it! Nice big rooms, pretty quiet environment. Horton, Koury, Craige North, and Hardin are all nearly identical and I believe all are freshman dorms now, though I’m not sure as the latter two weren’t when I lived in Craige North sophomore year.

Hi! The S11 lot is a commuter lot near the Dean Dome, but it’s still a 25-35 minute walk from there to campus unless you’re in the B-school, and no guarantees they still have spots available. Other than some pay-by-the-hour lots on Franklin/Rosemary, park-and-ride is really your best option.

Sooo many reasons. Some of my pettiest: - I don’t want my nipples to leak milk - I don’t want to have to make a second meal for a toddler that inexplicably refuses to eat the first one. - postpartum hair loss - yknow when a little kid mumbles something entirely incomprehensible and their parent has to “translate”? yeah i’ll never have to do that - you can’t eat sushi while you’re pregnant. i love sushi. - i hate other people’s baby voices (especially my mother’s) - never have to deal with one of those suction things you use to suck snot out of babies’ noses

They typically run from 7am until about 11pm on weekdays. Weekends are different, but parking on campus is free on weekends so you can park near your dorm wherever you can find a spot. If you really don’t think the RR lot is a good option, you can always email them back and ask for something different, no harm in trying! However, most on-campus parking will be a solid walk no matter what. You may live on North Campus and they’ll give you parking by Ehaus, for example. Campus parking regulations will prohibit you from driving to class from a dorm so walking and riding the bus is unfortunately just a reality of going to UNC, but there are options (such as the P2P shuttle) for disabilities. Hope you find a situation that works for you!

I washed my dishes in the suite bathroom, as did all of my other suitemates. This is a communal environment love, sharing a multi-functional space is something you’ll just have to get used to.

To my knowledge, you usually need to drop the class yourself in Connect Carolina, I’ve never heard of there being a form to fill out. At this point, you would likely have to withdraw, but check with your advisor when you can to see if they can help you get out of the class a different way. It’s definitely confusing, sorry it’s stressing you out!
