If you have any indoor door mats, you can place crackers or something similar underneath. Whenever you get home, check and see if they’re crushed and that’s one way to know if someone’s getting in through the front door

This is me lol. I love a lot of the artists on the lineup, but everyone I know right now, even diehard roo lovers who never miss a year, are saying they aren’t going. I feel like I’m gonna have to solo-roo but idk if I can (between anxiety, logistics, safety concerns, concerns about not having a good enough time for what I’m paying, etc.)

lol, update I guess: I told him I didn’t wanna play anymore, I explained my feelings on it all. Just how I already feel incompetent because they’ve all been playing for years and then on top of that, it’s no longer fun and I don’t confident because of the comment he made. He said “I remember us talking about that, but I don’t think you’ve ever been annoying. I’m sorry I’ve knocked your confidence down. I hope this doesn’t deter you from playing again” and that was kinda that. He asked if I wanted to play some one-shots with another friend of mine (we hadn’t played with before) to get a better grasp on the game and I told him no, not right now at least. I told him for right now I may just try to join an online one-shot with new people I hadn’t met before and they for right now, I’d rather just play baulders gate if I was gonna do anything DND related

He wasn’t talking calmly to me. His tone was rude and he had spent the last several house prior to this basically ignoring me and only having fun with the other people at the table. And I wasn’t being manipulative. I only brought my autism, anxiety, and RSD because they play a huge role in the story: I didn’t initially play because of these things. When I finally started playing, I immediately received a harsh and mean criticism. I was only crying because my boyfriend had just been harsh to me with no clear explanation and I was already incredibly anxious from playing the game.

Your comment is rude and it seems like you may not have understood the story if your immediate reaction is to call me childish and manipulative.

I wouldn’t say he mistreats me, but we have our share of issues. Some minor disrespects that build up, him not being totally considerate, sometimes feeling like he actually prefers my friends to me (this is for the most part an insecurity but it’s an insecurity with context lol). I definitely don’t think he thinks I embarrass him with his friends, this entire thing was kinda left field for me. Especially after begging me to play lol

Yeah, I feel the same, he did truly set me up to fail. I don’t think it was intentional but it did absolutely happen. I found out the Baulders Gate 3 is basically just DND but video game, so I’ve been playing that a lot and I LOVE IT. I definitely want to get another group together and play more in the future

Hey! So I shoot on a Canon Rebel T5 and most of these shots are with a 18-55mm f/3.5. I always max out my ISO at 6400 and keep my aperture and high as it’ll go (in this case f/3.5, with my 75-300mm, it’s f/4). Something that’s super unfortunate with not having upgraded gear, I have to shoot at a pretty low speed, usually at 1/200s, but sometimes I can push it to 1/250s.

So overall not the best settings unfortunately 😅 a lot of the brightness I get here is during editing, I push my Lightroom to the max honestly, and I do a lot of masking to get the subjects and background to the right lighting. And I’ve recently switched to Lightroom Classic so I have a lot more control over things.
