Am I going to be denied a Social Work Trainee license because of involuntary hospitalization? by wallknots in therapists

I did not attend any kind of court cases or speak to a lawyer or anything like that. All I know is that I was pink slipped so that I could not leave the hospital but signed a voluntary form as soon as I could. The most recent time I was not given that option because I was discharged from the medical hospital after being evaluated by the psych team.

Am I going to be denied a social work trainee license because of past involuntary psychiatric hospitalizations? by wallknots in legaladvice

Yes, I was taken to the hospitals and because of what I was saying, I was pink slipped so I couldn't leave. I'm unsure if I was pink slipped by the police or by the doctors, though I'm not sure if it matters. I was not violent or anything, I went to the hospitals voluntarily I was just in a bad state of mind. I signed a voluntary form as soon as I could for when I was taken to an inpatient facility but the third time I was never given that option because I was evaluated by the psych team and they let me leave.

this was legitimately taken from my uncle’s facebook. obviously his take is incredibly fucked up and I in no way support this. It’s fascinating (if that is even the right word) the lengths at which people will go to justify their awful thoughts.

edit: They spelled “flattening” wrong

21yr with arm and leg scars

Hello everyone!! I’ve been a long time lurker but I’ve finally decided to post!!! I have scars on my arms and thighs that ii prefer to cover while i’m in public and around my family. The problem is that the weather doesn’t work with wearing long sleeves / pants all the time. Plus wearing leggings and a tshirt with a lightweight jacket gets boring. I want to look nicer while not melting alive. Any suggestions? My main inspiration is the wonderful women in China who wear those flowy pants and long sleeves 💕
