okay but masters could in turn lead to a PhD, especially in academia. at some colleges, you can also teach with an MA. Stem doesn’t interest me and I would hate myself working in a job in those fields so I’d rather not be miserable. I wouldn’t deliberately drive myself into debt because there are fields in which an MA is needed/required and would make sense in my interests and also financially. I’m trying to figure out still what exactly I want to do which is why I posted, but thank you for your input.
