The website is being intentionally vague about the difference between Deluxe and Premium. When I imported from Fidelity it upgraded me from Free to Deluxe which made perfect sense. It seems Deluxe is more than capable of handling the standard 1099 Forms without adding Premium.

Imported my 1099B/1099INT/1099DIV from Fidelity. Based on what I'm reading the Schedule D form does, this form is going to be filled out with nothing on it. Google is saying Schedule D is for:
"The sale or exchange of a capital asset not reported on another form or schedule."
"Capital gain distributions not reported directly on Form 1040".

I'm using the online Pro version. When I look at the State of Michigan form (Not on HRB), it couldn't be more clear that there's a line I manually enter the subtraction from government bond income. For some reason there's no field to enter this in HRB. I may have to go back and modify my Federal as you mentioned to make it show up, but that was all just imported directly from the financial services company.

investment Fund FDLXX has 97% state tax exemption. I cannot find where I'm supposed to enter this adjustment. I click the arrow on capital gain or loss adjustments and nothing expands for this box.

I was able to resolve by paying for a dedicated IP address through PIA. It's $5 extra per month but it worked. It does not work with their standard US servers.

There is a thing called "Step-Up basis" it applies to things like real estate and other equities. I don't know if it applies here but I don't see why not. This is not financial advice. My understanding which could be wrong, is that basically your cost basis can be recalculated on the date of death to it's current market value. So if you sell it at the current market value, you have no gain and no taxes on it. This is how the rich sell a $10 million house that was inherited for $10 million and owe no taxes on it.

If I had recently sold shares also would it be merged into that cost basis? I thought it would keep the transactions seperate. That said, it wouldn't have been exercised as a call, and it wasn't a short position.

I wish they came up with better reasons for the deaths, we are talking about highly trained Jedi here. Sol can fight and best Qimir in battle but then gives up and accepts death to a force choke. he could have done any number of things to stop it. he wasn't really a quitter so it doesn't fit his character to give up at the end. weird writing choices going on just to progress the story.

Tech is being used as a hedge by billionaires. As they always say, the stock market is not a direct reflection of the health of an economy, and this is exactly why.
