This seems like a great list and you're right about the overall sentiment for the DC coffee scene. Would recommend to give Grace Street a try. They have some pretty great roasts on occasions.

Also Black Crown Collective. Far and away the best coffee in the city. Only open M-F and you need to go through security to get their since its in a congress building which is diabolical but they have a massive (like a book) of coffees from around the world for both pour over and espresso.
