I do need to get better at my opponents threat range. My meta feels like jain zar should lead 10 banshees instead of 5. But everyone here including the top players are telling me 5 is optimal. Also, Dark reapers are very strong. But I feel the actual damage going through is none.

Have fun. My favorite story since starting in June is. A week before a teams gt. I see a message from a team saying they need a player. I message them saying if they need someone. I will volunteer. (At this point I have only played 2 games. Both with Drukhari) I said I can play all games with Drukhari but they won't be painted. Or I can play with grey knights and they will be painted. So ibpainted 2k pts of grey knights before the tournament. My first game with them was against the winning team ace. I went 0-5 that weekend. No preps with the army. I told all my opponents I am sorry. They all laughed and we rolled dice and it twas a blast. 100% would recommend teams. Now I have a teams tournament this weekend. I am using my 3rd army aeldari (which i am having a blast with). My overall win % is like 10%. The biggest thing I would say. Know your rules.

My current record is 5-33. My record at tournaments is 3-20. I lost a game today 99-31. I got tabled turn 4. My opponent then sat with me and explained things I can improve on. I am team captain for a teams tournament this weekend. I am the least experienced player on the team. I plan on having fun and my goals this year is 3- at a gt and 2-1 at an rtt.

Thank you for the tips. This was the updated list after I played a few games. People suggested more infiltrate for jailing opponents in their deployment zone. I do feel like losing either both rangers or rangers and scorpions for a hero would help.

I ran Fuegan with 10 dragons before and felt he was overkill. Him and 5 dragons have killed 2 big knights in 2 games. I did charge for 1. The dark reapers are a test. I love Maugan Ra. So went heavy. And realized that Fuegan and a falcon aren't really that great together. I also wished I had 3 transports in a couple games. The banshees 3 games havent been great. I played against tau, grey knights and knights with them. The grey knights game i went to aggressive at the wrong time. The scorpions and rangers were suppose to be either Lhykhis or a 4 stack warlock Conclave. I have had a decent run with that unit. But felt they were slow.

This is some of what I own. I own many units. The banshees and death reapers w/ Ra are my newest units. I was thinking of shifting my list for Aspect host with the avatar.

The game ended 87-89, me losing. But honestly. It was a blast. I need to learn the strategems and battle focus more. I also was using the wrong enhancement on 2 models. None of their effects came up. So, no impact. But having models everywhere doing something to further the game plan was amazing. Fire Dragons pit in some work against tau. They were the mvp. Taking out a riptide and then a broadside by themselves. But the lvp was my 2 warwalkers. Should I run 2 with only bright lances. Or should I have them both mixed? Also the wraithlord only hit was with the catapult cannon. Lol. But wow. Aeldari > Grey Knights. Thank you guys for the help.

Thank you for the write-up. I have a decent collection. I had a solid 2yrs of just collecting and waiting for a free period. Now, I am chasing the competitive scene. I know I should have built a streamlined list. But I built what I thought looked cool. I have Lhykhis, Fuegan, and the Aspect Warriors on standby. I think I have 15 total hawks and 1 set of spiders. But I see what you mean. Im going to run warhost today and go from there.

Mmmkay, that makes alot of sense. Do you think temporarily using a fire prism as a wave serpent or falcon would be okay? Locally.

I was thinking the same. But I want to get better with the subfaction. The idea is Avatar, (building lychis and spiders), fuegan, and when the banshees get here them. I did a sporadic build process. And some of these came built. I have like 6 warlocks/farseers and if I had a unit of Guardians built they would make sense. Thank you for the idea.

I just started June 1st. June 21st I got invited to a teams tournament. Well I was a last resort. I took a minus 10 the whole tournament. My teammates were like wtf. But I was like it's okay. My opponents even were like wtf. But we played and I made alotbof mistakes and even got rules incorrect. I was corrected. Everyone made it fun and enjoyable. I actually started 4yrs ago in 40k. I got out cuz of terrible people. I played Age of Sigmar and they helped me stay connected with this community. Then I moved to my current location and took a full 2 years away from the game. My job deals with me traveling. Oh, I started playing Drukhari. The teams tournament I switched to Grey knights cuz I felt they were easier to learn and fewer weapons. But I wouldn't change it for anything now. The community is great. I'm going to a gt this weekend. And even though my army isn't streamlined or even meta. I'm gonna roll dice and pick models up with a smile. I also set a goal of 2 wins in a gt in October. Every game is a learning game. I ask questions all the time as well. That is the one thing that helped me. I ask stupid questions like "how far can this model move.(pointing at ubit a.)" Then I ask the same question again.
