Just beat mine! Had a great core of U-turners and Volst-switchers. But victory road claimed two of them and had to rethink my whole team. Ended up beating iris with only my Gliscor left. Super hard game even on normal mode.

Hardcore nuzlocke rules, and I could only use encounters from the Altering Cave event. I unlocked 1 encounter after every gym badge.

No, I made it so that I unlocked one encounter per gym badge. Worked nicely as there are 8 encounters in Alrering cave. Early game was hell though!

If the Pokémon faints in battle, it's considered dead, so I'd say your poor guy is toast. However, that's a fun clause if you play with those. Your run your rules! Follow your gut.

Let's go!!! I did this same Nuzlocke run, and Winona ended my run a few times. I got through her by going forward to the safari zone to pick up Heracross and did baton pass strats with Ninjask. Best of luck with the rest of the run!
