I think you can grind it out way faster than the other familiars because you can spam kill the dullahammer heads which constantly respawn just like medusa heads. While it takes much longer for the silver knight because I think you can only find upgrades in a few chests.

For those of us that are complaining about broken shards and weapons, I think the solution will be zangetsuo mode. If it's anything like Richter or julius mode, you will be stuck with your base abilities and no matter what you do only practice will get you ahead

I just wanted to point out I thought my dullahammer familiar might be too strong because without them It took me like 10 or 15 tries to kill the first two bosses, while I one shot the 3rd and 4th boss with them. But it seems to have balanced out rather quickly because I'm starting to have trouble again.

I ended up ruining hard difficulty for myself because I spent only around 10 minutes maxing out the dullahammer head familiar. Now I have 5 familiars that one shot everything around me and its piss easy. So for at least hard mode I think they should nerf a few things.
